Cover of The Nose Book

I have banned myself from shopping for books. I realized I have at least 15 books sitting on my shelf waiting to be read, but I also just got three library books! How will I finish all these books before the end of the year? (I do not have to finish them before the end of the year, but I figure if I don’t finish them before then it just proves I should not have gotten so many in the first place and I cannot let that happen. I will not prove that I did not NEED those books because when I bought them I’m sure I did.) I just cannot help it, we go to these resale shops that have such great deals on books, and I feel like I cannot pass up the deals. Of course I am not banned from buying books for baby because that would be just plain crazy. All this came about because we hit a few resale shops today and I finally found a book I have been looking for, The Scent of Rain and Lightening by Nancy Pickard. I have wanted to read it because I just finished another book by Nancy Pickard and I heard this one is great as well. The library by my house did not have it and I have searched for a few weeks in all the resale shops we go to. Well today I struck gold! I also got three books for baby, The Nose Book by Al Perkins and Roy McKie, Happy Birthday to You by Dr. Seuss, and Do Princesses Scrape Their Knees? by Carmela LaVigna Coyle and Mike Gordon. Each of the books cost me just $1.99 each which would have normally cost me at least $8.99 at regular price. I am very happy about my finds and my savings, now we just have to get reading! :)
